Welcome to my thought dump
My name is Neeraj. I made this space as an experiment to log all of my experiences, stories and opinions I could revisit in the future.
I wear many hats as a person – computer science major, supply chain analyst, sourcing operations, failed restaurateur, business owner, and writer.
In 2012, I was asked to write a piece on my biennial college fest. I didn’t know at the time, but I found myself to have a distinct way of writing the obvious explanation for a mundane event. It caught the eye of the organizers who sought help in drafting various compositional proposals, booklets and speeches.
I went about creating more, succeeding at most, reading experimental ways of writing, to discover this unerring ability to pen some charismatic lines. That’s not to say I banked on this for a living and wasn’t dynamic, I was. I ended up studying abroad, getting a management degree, worked in corporate at General Electric, and back to my homeland to start a business venture that wasn’t very successful in its own right. Over the next few years, I dipped my toe in multiple avenues and fields – businesses, finance, writing, and even interior design.
This space, albeit an outlet of my thoughts, portrays a piece of my opinions, some non exuberant stories that could serve as food for thought and some discoveries that I’ve found along the way. It may seem raw, it may seem unapologetic, but it is just like it is named – foggy window, for whatever you see here, may eventually just be frosted over.
Expect the following:
- Lists of Internet finds
- Personal Experiences
- Short Stories
- Investment journey and/or skeptical advice on it
- Reviews
- Interior design
- And probably more that I haven’t thought about while penning this down
